Whole School Wellbeing in Action: Discover Priorities in Practice

As a school leader, you understand the importance of a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing. Join us to explore how our Priorities in Practice programme empowers you, as a senior leader, to create a thriving, supportive environment for pupils and staff in your unique setting.

Description

What you’ll gain from this exploratory session:

  1. How Priorities in Practice prepares leaders to lead with confidence
We will outline how this 3-day course supports leaders to define context-led aims, build 5-year milestone plans, and align their work to the new Ofsted report card structure.
  2. Using the DfE’s 8 Principles

How we use the DfE’s 8 Principles for a whole school approach to transform mental health and wellbeing in your school.

  1. Lead with intent
We will help school leaders articulate and implement their school’s unique priorities and evidence real, measurable actions and impact over time.
  2. From wellbeing to whole-school improvement
While the training focuses on the 8 DfE principles for mental health and wellbeing, the planning model supports accurate thinking and action - across leadership, teaching, inclusion, and more.
  3. Get ahead and be prepared
With training in June and September 2025, Priorities in Practice equips nominated leads and SLT to feel ready, strategic, and confident ahead of the new inspection cycle.

We look forward to seeing you there!
